Role Overview This role is pivotal in building, delivering and driving the security of our mobile platform. You will design and deliver a world‑class security framework, including penetration testing, obfuscation, consultancy and services. Your work will enable commercial and service‑mindful colleagues to build their own propositions autonomously, focusing on the best experience for our customers while using enterprise‑standard components. What we need from you – essential skills and experience
Excellent knowledge and experience of mobile security penetration testing methodologies Ability to develop and maintain penetration testing security tools, scripts, policies and procedures Capability to perform mobile application security assessments to identify design and implementation flaws, potential vulnerabilities and threats Demonstrable systematic and analytical problem‑solving approach, with the ability to monitor, analyse and resolve specific security issues or events General awareness of emerging mobile security threats, trends and technologies
Desirable knowledge and experience
Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling, testing and automation frameworks Background or hands‑on knowledge in mobile development Native code proficiency: assembly (ARM/ARM64), C, Rust Understanding of encryption and cryptographic protocols: SSL/TLS, AES, RSA Experience with tools: Hopper, Radare, IDA Pro, Jeb, Jadx, Burp Suite Pro, Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Apktool, YARA, Frida, Objection, Cycript, Theos, Cydia Substrate Passion for mobile platforms and keen interest in upcoming OS changes, tools, APIs and security libraries Familiarity with programming languages: C, Java, Kotlin, Objective‑C, Swift, JavaScript, Python, Bash
