Motion Graphics Animator - Contract

SW London - Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days on-site per week)

£225-245 per day - Inside IR35

Initial 3 month contract - view to extend

About The Role

We're hiring a Motion Graphics Animator for an amazing opportunity to get stuck in, build your experience and join an award-winning in-house creative team at one of the world's most recognisable tech brands. This team delivers beautifully crafted motion design and storytelling content across a wide range of digital services; from app promotions and Streaming features/adverts to townhall presentations, editorial features, and global campaigns.

You'll work directly with a senior creative director and alongside a diverse global team of animators, designers, and art directors. The work is varied, from high-volume campaign assets to bespoke creative pieces tied to global events like Lunar New Year, Black History Month, and more.

While the majority of projects will be 2D-based using After Effects, experience or familiarity with 3D tools (e.g. C4D, Blender, Maya) will be highly valued.

What You'll Do

• Animate high quality 2D motion graphics for global digital campaigns
• Explore creative ways to bring static assets to life through animation
• Collaborate with stakeholders across editorial, design, and production
• Adapt to a variety of styles and aesthetics while maintaining brand consistency
• Work on a range of deliverables from templated system driven content to bespoke animations for global keynotes
• Stay hands-on throughout the process: story boarding, animating, and rendering final deliverables.
• Balance creative exploration with efficient production output
  
  

• 2-5 years in motion design, ideally in fast-paced agency or in-house environments.
• A strong demo reel that demonstrates both style variety and technical execution.
• Deep knowledge of After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• A good eye for layout, timing, and storytelling through motion.
• Comfortable working with creative templates and large scale animation systems.
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable switching between high level briefs and hands-on production.
• Strong organisation and communication skills, able to thrive in a hybrid working culture.
  
  

• Experience with 3D tools (C4D, Blender, Maya etc.).
• Exposure to character rigging or cel animation.
• Familiarity with designing for global campaigns (especially across EMEA/APAC regions).
