Due to having long-term deals in place with a number of MGA’s (each with diverse books of business), the need has arisen to appoint a Motor Claims Team Leader. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to 7 Motor Claims Handlers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Motor Claims Team of up to 7 Motor Claims Handlers
• Provide training, development and coaching to team members
• Allocate workloads and monitor performance
• Act as an escalation point for complaints
• Perform file and audit checking to ensure compliance
• Serve as a referral point for more complex or contentious claims
• Support a fully remote-based team to work toward shared goals and objectives

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience within Motor Third Party Damage claims
• Strong managerial skills capable of guiding a remote team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and challenge the status quo
• Willingness to get involved in a variety of projects and assignments as the company grows

Salary, Benefits & Progression

Salary range: £30,000 – £39,999, £40,000 – £49,999 (to £42K plus benefits). Competitive basic salary with a range of company benefits, including support towards professional qualifications. Clear opportunities for progression in the short, medium and longer term as the company grows.
