About Us
The Cambridge Road Estate (CRE) regeneration is Kingston’s most important housing development programme for many years. As well as building high quality modern homes to suit the needs of local residents, we are creating a safer neighbourhood with new parks, play areas and community facilities. We are at an exciting stage in the programme now, with construction of the first of the new homes in phase 1 nearing completion later this year. We are looking for an experienced and committed professional to join our dedicated rehousing team at a crucial point in this journey.
We are a small but very supportive team doing a big job! The CRE rehousing team sits within the wider CRE project team, and we work very closely with housing service colleagues, the development team and other teams within RBK and across the wider voluntary and community sector in Kingston.
Our purpose is to ensure the rehousing programme is kept on track, to meet the redevelopment timelines and to make sure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents. Our core principles are flexibility, consistency and transparency and we are constantly striving to improve and develop the service we offer to CRE residents through innovation and creativity.
