Job Description:

A global business and technology transformation partner is looking to hire a MS Power Platform Technical Consultant based in or commutable distance to Newport.

WARNING: for this role, candidates who require company support to legally live and work in the UK cannot be considered.

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. The successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years to obtain SC clearance.

What will you do:

• Identify user needs and create strong relationships with project stakeholders.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions to meet user needs within a delivery team.
• Be a technical specialist, producing high-quality applications, including model-driven and canvas apps, as well as enterprise-scale Power Automate Cloud Flow solutions.
• Understand governance principles and advise on best practices for empowering Power Platform makers.
• Build solutions as part of an agile team using declarative tools, backed by Microsoft and our own technical accelerators. Participate in solution design and follow software engineering best practices.

Your skills and experience:

• Passion and excitement for the Power Platform, its capabilities, and limitations.
• Hands-on experience with Dataverse and Dataverse for Teams in implementing Power Platform solutions.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices when designing solutions in the Power Platform.
• Focus on delivering positive outcomes for clients of various scales.
• Experience working in agile methodologies within a collaborative, commercial environment.

Role is hybrid - 2 days per week at the nearest office in the first 6 months, transitioning to fully remote afterward.

Hiring process: two steps.

Salary: up to £75,000 annually DOE.
