Job Title: Multi-Site Security Officer

Location: Various locations - Covering sites within 60 miles of NN11 8NF, including Daventry, Coventry, Stanton Harcourt, Bicester, Kettering and Derby. Working hours: Zero hours. Pay: As per site rate. Reporting to: Operations Manager / Regional Supervisor.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team as a Multi-Site Officer. The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors to the site, complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Protect the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and site-specific procedures
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
  • Prevent and escalate incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room / Shift Manager / Operations Manager / Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Maintain the organisation’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Act as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
  • Understand the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

Requirements

  • Full 5-year employment history that is checkable
  • Valid frontline SIA licence (DS or SG)
  • Valid UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle
  • Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
  • Flexible to meet the job requirements
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Smart appearance and well-groomed
  • Reliable and punctual
  • High level of enthusiasm and passion
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
