Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer (Mobile) – Facilities Management

What you will be doing:
- Monitor planned preventive maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance at all times.
- Ensure reactive and planned maintenance tasks are completed on time.
- Support GTFM Management with additional works for the client, building repairs and lifecycle maintenance.
- Carry out electrical planned, reactive and additional works in client buildings, including minor works, repairs, fault finding and fault diagnosis.
- Ensure compliance with the Electrical Installation Regulations (17th/18th Edition) at all times and that appropriate materials are used.
- Maintain full competence in all aspects of electrical installation work.
- Attend any tasks issued that may include non‑electrical jobs for which the post holder has the necessary skills.
- Work with GTFM staff and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works within agreed operational targets.
- Complete all works to high quality standards, in accordance with Galliford Try Health and Safety Standards, Client Policies and Procedures, and leave property clean and tidy.
- Accurately complete all works allocated via a portable electronic device and update tasks in a timely manner.
- Attend toolbox talks, training and meetings as required by GTFM management.
- Act at all times in accordance with Galliford Try rules, policies, procedures and financial regulations.
- Work Monday to Friday with on‑call rota covering one weekend in four and occasional holiday and sickness cover.
About you:
- Electrical qualification – 17th Edition minimum (18th Edition training provided if required).
- Experience working as part of an FM team in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Experience within a facilities management / hospital environment.
- Successful applicant must clear a PVG disclosure check.
- Time‑served apprenticeship is essential.
