Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Murex migration activities, including environment setup, configuration, and validation.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand Treasury product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain MxML workflows for trade booking, static data, and market data migrations.
  • Develop and optimise scripts to support migration processes and automation.
  • Configure and maintain Datamart reporting solutions to support business and regulatory reporting needs.
  • Conduct functional and technical testing to ensure quality and accuracy of migrated data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across MxML workflows, Datamart configurations, and related Murex components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Front Office, Risk, Operations, and IT to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-migration support to business users and technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong Murex experience with proven expertise in MxML Exchange (design, development, and troubleshooting).
  • Hands-on experience with migration projects, preferably in Treasury products.
  • Solid functional knowledge of Treasury products (FX, MM, IRD, Bonds, Commodities, etc.).
  • Technical expertise in MxML scripting (workflow development, data transformation).
  • Datamart (design, reporting, optimisation).
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Unix Shell, Python, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to Murex v3 platform.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting migrations.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/Oracle).
  • Previous experience in large-scale system upgrades or transformation projects.
