Job Description

An opportunity to be part of the expansion of Galderma’s consumer brands portfolio within wholesale accounts and pharmacies based in London. We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager, to be responsible for driving retail sell-out, growing market share and managing your P&L down to gross margin for Galderma. You will take ownership, identifying opportunities for growth, with a particular focus on differentiation and profit protection. Relationship building with key customers by developing winning commercial propositions and strategies.

  • Build bottom-up customer account plans to drive the overall business that is aligned with the consumer business unit objectives and customer strategies.
  • Build productive business relationships to include cross-functional stakeholders within customers.
  • Accountable to achieve net net sales and gross-to-net % targets as well as proactive collaborative management of other lines in the P&L where sales have an impact or influence.
  • Ensure account-specific strategies, plans and tactics are defined which deliver category growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements.
  • Ensure multifunctional input and alignment to key growth opportunities and account plans.
  • Execute against promotional guidelines by category and channel. Continuously evaluate ROI of trade investments and amend the in-year plan where necessary.
  • Develop winning customer-focused commercial propositions that support the strategies of the annual brand plans.
  • Demonstrate effective relationship-building as a sales professional.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree level education (commercial field preferred but flexible)
  • Commercial experience in FMCG sales, ability to analyse and interpret data, manage multiple JBP programs
  • Excellent UK customer/FMCG market knowledge; skincare experience a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong planning skills to maximise results and achieve KPIs
  • Passionate about the beauty industry with awareness of industry trends and innovation
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills and good relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to listen and interact effectively with different interpersonal styles, communicating clearly and concisely
