National Account Manager – Foodservice

Location: Greater London

  • Bonus – up to 10%

ROLE OVERVIEW

This National Account Manager position sits within the Foodservice channel and reports directly to the Channel Director. You will take ownership of some of the UK’s largest wholesale and foodservice customers - including Brakes, Bidfood, and Booker - whilst also developing strong end-user relationships and driving new business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading, managing, and growing strategic wholesale and foodservice accounts.
  • Building robust customer relationships, creating joint business plans, and delivering against commercial targets.
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the sector.
  • Developing annual business plans to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Managing trade investment effectively and evaluating promotional ROI.
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve business and customer objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager in a branded FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK wholesale or foodservice channel.
  • Experience managing high-profile accounts and delivering growth through strategic account planning.
  • Strong P&L management skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative, driven mindset with the ability to influence at all levels
