Overview

Working with the big four UK grocers requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results in a competitive and dynamic market. This off-trade role sits within Amber Beverage UK’s portfolio of established and up-and-coming spirits brands.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing accounts within the big four supermarkets as the primary purpose of this role
  • Developing customer-specific activities delivering volume and profit while aligning to agreed strategies
  • Maintaining and developing incremental sales growth from existing business and new product development opportunities
  • Planning and implementing promotional activity aligned to the customer’s shopper base, collaborating with the Marketing team
  • Setting and managing financial budgets for each account internally and externally
  • Forecasting customer volumes to assist total business planning accuracy
  • Inputting to the development of customer category plans to maximise returns to ABUK
  • Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities

What kind of experience you’ll bring

  • Experience of working with grocers is important
  • You will have presented to and negotiated with different stakeholders in your previous roles
  • Drinks experience would be helpful, but not essential
  • Attention to detail and concern for quality
  • Solutions-focused, tenaciously overcoming barriers
