Overview
To be accountable to the Projects Performance Manager for the delivery of the FMSP Asset Management function, Maintenance and Performance function. In direct support of the Project Performance Manager, provide the discrete Intelligent Customer (IC) role for the Estates Intelligent Customer function with Babcock and Interserve principally executed through the Future Maritime Support programme (FMSP) contract. (See Generic IC ToRs in the IC Handbook). Ensure Management Information (MI), Reports and contract deliverables are met in accordance with the FMSP Statement of Technical Requirement (SOTR), associated SOTR Annexes and contract schedules, engaging the Nuclear Design & Maintenance (NDM) group where deliverables impact NDM managed assets. Work with the Project Performance Manager, to enable the Deputy Estate Manager (NB Estate) to create a “one team” approach to FMSP contract management. Under the direction of the Project Performance Manager, work with the IP to ensure expected contract performance and value for money in the delivery of the contract. Develop, manage and maintain the compliance data area to ensure the Deputy Estates Manager (NB) and Estates Manager 1 have a true reflection of compliance against the estate and KPI. Support the Project Performance Manager with delivery of the SC9 project works, including development of project initiation documents, business cases and scoping.
Secondary Purpose
To support/deliver Naval Base “Rounds” as directed by the Project Performance Manager, ensuring that all site activities are managed and delivered safely, effectively and coherently. This is an activity that will necessitate close engagement with other ICs and the Industry Partners. To assist any queries/issues identified by Maintenance Managers and Project Performance Manager to ensure satisfactory resolution. Assist in the evaluation of tender returns from Industry Partners and undertake clarification or development tasks as directed. To attend the IC Forum, as necessary to support the Deputy Estates Manager and interact with ICs to enable the discharge their respective Output Specifications (i.e., Ships/Subs/Logistics/Waterfront). To provide administrative support to the Deputy Estates Manager for the implementation of Asset Management Governance across the Devonport Estate.
