We require the services of an NEC 4 Project Manager to support with a major highways project, from pre-construction to project closeout and handover.
Responsibilities:
The primary function of the role is to undertake the duties of the NEC4 Project Manager in accordance with the NEC4 Engineering & Construction Contract.
In addition, the responsibilities of the NEC4 Project Manager will include:
- Supporting the Lead Designer with the preparation of the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), ensuring all project specifics are accurately captured and aligned with client and stakeholder expectations.
- Be involved in early contractor Involvement to discuss buildability issues including: the design / development of temporary enabling works needed to deliver the phased permanent works construction.
- Assisting the Project Manager / Team in ensuring that the Client’s requirements, procedures, and quality processes are followed.
- Observing the on-site health and safety aspects of the Contractor’s operations and informing the Project Manager of key H&S risks / and or areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- The NEC 4 Project Manager should be suitably qualified, NEC accredited, hold an appropriate level of CSCS Card or NEBOSH with at least five years’ experience administering NEC ECC forms of contract in an equivalent role.
- Proficiency in project and financial management, capable of inputting into project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls effectively.
- Knowledgeable in CDM, health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring all projects comply with legal standards and best practices.
