Neighbourhood Coordinator (Lambeth and Tower Hamlet)

New Yesterday

Overview

You will cover neighbourhoods in Lambeth and Tower Hamlets. The role involves at least 80% remote working around your neighbourhood or "patch", with occasional evening meetings and periodic face-to-face meetings in Luton.

This is a role where you’ll be hands-on and visible in the community, helping PA Housing deliver high-quality services to residents and contribute to safe, clean, and thriving neighbourhoods.

What you’ll be doing

  • Get out and about in your neighbourhood to build strong relationships with residents and local partners (councils, community groups, police, health services) to make a real difference.
  • Shape and grow community engagement activities, ensuring there are ample ways for people to get involved and share their views.
  • Build trust with residents and help them have a say in how services are provided.
  • Help create inclusive, welcoming communities that are built to last for future generations.
  • Take a people-first approach and work with the wider team to meet residents’ needs.
  • Keep residents informed about neighbourhood updates via social media, the website, noticeboards, or in-person conversations.
  • Support with Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the You and Your Neighbourhood campaign, seeking resident feedback and ideas to improve services in the area.
  • Read the full job description and attachments as needed to understand the role.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in customer-focused roles and a demonstrated ability to put people at the heart of what you do.
  • Strong time management, organisation, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Good at planning and coordinating projects, meetings, or busy days.
  • Comfortable thinking on your feet and adapting quickly when circumstances change.
  • Clear, confident communication, whether face-to-face, in writing, or with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect with a wide range of people, including those who are vulnerable or harder to reach, with respect and understanding.

What you’ll get

  • Salary plus benefits including high street discount schemes, health cash plans, and 26 days’ annual leave (increasing to 29 after three years, with the option to buy more).
  • Flexible Bank Holidays and a car leasing scheme.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility to balance office days (approx. two to three per week) and meeting cycles, plus an optional nine-day fortnight.

Other requirements

  • Standard DBS check is required; a standard DBS will show spent and unspent convictions.
  • Full UK Driving License.
