  • Cares for newborn babies with a range of health concerns from birth until they are released from the NICU.
  • Provides comfort, support, and care to infants with serious health conditions.
  • Communicates and cooperates with other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer, prepare & check treatments and medications prescribed by physicians.
  • Educates parents and family members about infant care.
  • Uses advanced equipment and technology.
  • Managing a baby's fluids
  • Recording observations and documenting a baby's care
