Role

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on NetSuite Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team on a 6-month contract. You will play a crucial role in supporting the consolidation of newly acquired entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and enhancing our use of NetSuite functionality in line with UK GAAP and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NetSuite setup and configuration for new entities (COA, dimensions, departments, locations, users)
  • Support multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations
  • Assist with finance integration planning, data migration, and reconciliations post-acquisition
  • Build and optimise saved searches, financial reports, and dashboards
  • Maintain and enhance NetSuite reporting to meet FP&A and audit requirements
  • Collaborate across Finance and IT on process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Provide training and documentation for Finance users where needed

Qualifications

  • Strong NetSuite expertise, including multi-entity setup, intercompany accounting, and reporting tools
  • 5+ years in finance systems roles with at least 2 years of hands-on NetSuite experience
  • Proven understanding of UK GAAP and core accounting principles (qualified or qualified-by-experience)
  • Demonstrable experience supporting FP&A teams with reporting and analytics
  • Experience in chart of accounts design and financial data mapping
  • Strong experience in M&A integration projects and finance transformation
  • Proficient in Excel and NetSuite saved searches
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Familiarity with accounting and automation tools (e.g., Anaplan, Zone) a plus
  • High attention to detail, numerical accuracy and analytical skills
  • Strong self-management and motivational skills; ability to learn and deliver on key responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across different teams
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders professionally
  • Willingness to learn and develop as the company grows
