This role focuses on optimizing network infrastructure, ensuring robust security protocols, and managing relationships with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to support the company's dynamic events and experiences portfolio. Key technologies include M365, Azure Cloud Services, DNS Services, Cloudflare, Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, CrowdStrike, Tenable IO, as well as related network and security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management systems. The role will also involve supporting M&A activities related to network integration and security assessments for new acquisitions within the company.Within the IT Team, the Network Architect, Telecom & Security Manager will drive innovative network designs, telecom designs, security strategies, and cloud integrations while maintaining a centre of excellence for secure perimeter management. This role requires deep expertise in networking and cybersecurity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities*** Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure), to support global operations and ensure high availability for events and experiences.* Oversee cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and threat mitigation, utilizing tools like CrowdStrike, Tenable IO, and SIEM systems* Manage relationships with MSSPs, coordinating workloads, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with the company's security policies and compliance requirements.* Collaborate with IT stakeholders to develop and enforce security policies, processes, and procedures, including patch management, identity and access management (IAM), and endpoint protection.* Design, install, maintain, and optimize telecommunication systems for voice ensuring high quality and reliability.* Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify network and security vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing mitigations based on best practices (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls).* Assist in M&A activities by evaluating network infrastructures and security postures of potential acquisitions, planning integrations, and ensuring seamless transitions. · Implement and manage monitoring tools for networks and security events, including proactive threat detection, performance optimization, and real-time analysis of logs and incidents.* Raise security awareness through tailored education programs and integrate security considerations into change management processes.* Research emerging technologies in networking and cybersecurity, such as AI-driven threat detection and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), to enhance infrastructure capabilities.* Establish and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, and procedures, for operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for network and security systems across global operations, including high-risk locations.* Provide technical guidance on network tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix) and security systems (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus), troubleshooting issues as needed.* Provide technical guidance on setting up network and network security services in events**Unusual Challenges or Circumstances*** There may be occasions that you may be requested to work out of the normal office hours and/or be asked to participate in travel, including weekends and holidays for event support.
