About The Role Are you a strategic thinker, with a passion for driving growth and winning new business? Do you thrive on generating and transforming leads into profitable opportunities, and building lasting customer relationships?
Offering a salary up to £45k with uncapped commission with realistic annual commission circa of £25k per year, we are looking for a dynamic New Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role you will spearhead new business acquisition strategy, targeting and converting key prospects through a combination of self-generated and qualified leads.
The role is entirely remote/field based and will solely focus on new business wins, covering the entire UK, with a focus on the North/ East of England.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Actively hunting for new business, contributing and delivering against the new business strategy based on relevant insight, market trends and research.
- Proposing profitable new business commercial opportunities aligned to growth plans.
- Managing key internal relationships in order to drive optimum sales pipeline processes.
- Promoting strong relationships with other BDMs to create effective joint win strategies.
- Being strategic in your approach to customer acquisition, to promote the Arco brand and proposition at all levels within our customers business.
- Orchestrating relevant internal and external resources to deliver new business.
- Developing, and driving a tailored value proposition for target customers.
- Utilising relevant technology and tools to enhance the sales process and ensure up to date and accurate data
- A starting salary up to £45k, with uncapped commission - realistic annual commission of circa £25k
- 32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus the option to purchase up to 5 more days

- Driven to quickly win profitable new business.
- Great negotiation & conversion skills, comfortable in dealing with different types of customer stakeholders.
- A detailed knowledge of market and competition
- Ability to analyse sales and P&L data to inform sales strategy, utilising all available reporting tools.
- Excellent presentation skills to share the benefits and services of Arco to an appropriate audience
- Experience of Challenger Sales methodology would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
