Our client, a pioneering and innovative in-house firm, is currently seeking a Probate Team Leader to join one of their already established offices across the UK. This is a remote role; however, some hybrid working will be required.

As a Probate Team Leader, your day will look like the below:

• Supporting the leadership department and directly contributing to leading, developing, and motivating the team to deliver performance targets.
• Guiding a team through their career and being a direct line manager for them, including completing performance reviews.
• Leading by example, driving and motivating a team to ensure their work is carried out in a process-led way to the highest standards.
• Ensuring an extremely high level of customer service is delivered throughout the team.
• Using your initiative to suggest business process improvements, not only to your direct team but the whole department.

The ideal candidate will have the below attributes/experience:

• A high level of technical knowledge to support the team with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of legal issues, including probate matters.
• Someone who is open to continuously learning to maintain their skillset.
• The ability to work well in a team.
• The ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Driven by delivering a high standard of customer service.
• A history of successful completions, completed in a timely manner, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience utilizing management information (MI) software.
• A solutions-oriented approach to work.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience managing and running their own caseload of probate files, who will have the technical background that allows them to manage an effective team.
