Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Non-Medical Prescriber, with the flexibility to work from home. The role involves assessing patients, formulating treatment plans, and prescribing appropriate medications or interventions if needed, particularly for those with ADHD. The Non-Medical Prescriber will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, ensure patient safety in relation to prescribing practices, and provide expert advice and ongoing support for patients and their families. The role requires adherence to high standards of healthcare delivery and compliance with all regulatory frameworks. Oversight and supervision is provided by consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in prescribing, including the ability to manage medical care in a variety of contexts with a primary focus on mental health, ADHD, and autism.
- Specialized understanding and experience in Neurodiversity and treatment approaches relevant to mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- CAMHS experience.
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification with a current registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
- Proficiency in patient consultation, diagnosis, and development of evidence-based care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering inclusive, empathic, and person-centered care to improve patient outcomes.
