Job Description:
Role Overview: As the North Area Loss Prevention & Security Manager, you will lead a proactive approach to loss prevention and security risk management across markets, focusing on compliance, loss prevention, and enterprise risk management to create a secure environment and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Unit BR&C Leaders to implement security strategies.
- Provide expertise in security and loss prevention to support operational excellence.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Investigate incidents and analyse root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Work with external providers to reduce fraud and claims.
- Act as the primary contact for authorities and external bodies.
- Promote risk awareness and foster a risk-aware culture.
- Manage incident and crisis responses effectively.
- Support talent development and succession planning within the organization.
- Reduce anti-social incidents and improve related processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Security Management or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years in security and loss prevention roles.
- Strong decision-making skills considering ethical implications.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Leadership experience, preferably managing multiple sites.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
Additional Details:
- Type: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months, Full-Time (39 hours/week)
- Schedule: Mainly Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends/evenings, on call every 5-6 weeks
- Salary: From £41,000 plus benefits
- Perks: Car allowance, mileage, expenses
- Travel: Frequent across North Market Area
