What You'll Do

In the role of Solicitor, you will become a vital member of a dedicated team delivering expert defendant litigation services. Your days will be filled with:

  • Take ownership of your own caseload of predominantly fast-track claims, with the exciting potential to handle more complex multi-track cases as your experience grows.
  • Engage regularly with clients, opponents, courts and witnesses to ensure seamless communication and positive outcomes throughout each case.
  • Conduct thorough liability investigations to validate claims and provide clear, practical advice that supports client needs.
  • Work on a diverse range of cases involving public sector bodies and insurance clients from across the nation.

What You Bring

To do well in this role, you will bring the following relevant experience:

  • NQ – 3PQE Solicitor interested in the public sector / local government.
  • Experience managing EL/PL claims, ideally from a defendant perspective but claimant will also be considered.
  • Your drafting skills are polished, enabling you to produce clear, persuasive legal documents tailored for each situation.
  • Excellent communication skills allow you to interact warmly and effectively with clients, colleagues, courts and other stakeholders.
