Senior Information Governance Officer (SIGO)

Band 7, Salary £50,861 - £59,159

NHS Grampian wishes to appoint to an additional Senior Information Governance Officer. This is a permanent full-time post and will be based at Rosehill House (Aberdeen) with flexible working location options possible by agreement.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Information Governance professional with the requisite professional knowledge to succeed in a complex information environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge, along with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

The postholder will be focused on statutory assurance work, triaging and prioritising requests from across NHS Grampian and the Health and Social Care Partnerships around new or changed processes, systems or projects, and supporting their implementation and delivery.

The post holder will work with the existing SIGO to provide operational oversight of the Information Governance team and appropriate support to independent GP practices within the Grampian region.

The post holder will provide guidance appropriate to their level of responsibility to the whole system in Grampian and across the range of areas covered by the Information Governance function. They will also support the wider operation of the team and the function.
