Nurse Independent Prescriber ( 16 hours, Sat & Sun. Fully remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicatedNurse Independent Prescriber to join our growing multidisciplinary team, which includes nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and GPs. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care via digital platforms and have a strong interest in weight management, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

This is a part time position, working 8am-5pm Saturday & Sunday. This role will also be fully remote.

About the Role

As a Nurse Independent Prescriber, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, effective, and accessible digital healthcare. You'll primarily focus on assessing online consultations, managing patient health needs, and prescribing medications, with a strong focus on weight management.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

You must be a qualified Nurse Independent Prescriber, holding current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Experience:
Previous experience in online prescribing is highly desirable. Experience managing patients on GLP-1 medications and working within weight management services is also preferred.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.

Digital Confidence:
Comfortable using digital health platforms, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

Proactive and Solution-Focused:
Demonstrates a proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and best practice.

Salary

£19,200 per year
