Overview
This role sits in the team which manages and delivers quality assurance services to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) undertaken as part of our contract as the Quality Assurance Service Provider, and according to the NMCs requirements. The postholder will be part of a team of Quality Officers that deliver quality assurance activities including approvals, modifications, and monitoring activities. This involves initial liaison with institutions regarding quality assurance activity, supporting and managing visitor teams during the review process, through to the delivery of final reports to the NMC. This work involves close liaison with institutions, visitors, NMC and other stakeholders in the delivery and support of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality assurance activities including approvals, modifications, and monitoring.
- Engage in initial liaison with institutions regarding quality assurance activity.
- Support and manage visitor teams during the review process.
- Deliver final reports to the NMC.
- Maintain close liaison with institutions, visitors, NMC and other stakeholders in the delivery and support of QA processes.
Requirements
If you have experience of delivering complex operational processes or services to an agreed standard, and enjoy delivering projects and working with external experts, we want to hear from you. We are interested in hearing from candidates with experience of working in the higher education sector, particularly those with knowledge of the quality and standards frameworks that apply in the UK and the regulatory requirements of the NMC.

Salary: £40,500 – £51,000 per annum, dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience, plus excellent benefits
