Job Introduction

British Transport Police (BTP) is the national police force for the rail network throughout Great Britain. We are the ‘Guardians of the Railway,’ putting passenger safety at the heart of what we do. Our values are simply: We Care, We Do the Right Thing, We Strive to Be Better Every Day, We Are One BTP, and We Are Proud to Protect. Join us and help create an environment where we can all be our best every day.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity. We are recruiting for a permanent, full time Occupational Health Practice Nurse. The role is attached to an attractive salary of £38,264.81 plus £4427.65 London Allowance (for London based applicants)

Whilst the successful candidate will be able to work a blended approach of home and office-working when business needs allow, they will be required to attend our clinic-based location to deliver clinics as well as travel regularly to our other locations as business demand requires. Travel and accommodation will be provided, when required.

This is a development role, therefore, whilst we will require the successful candidate to be a Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Occupational Health experience is not essential as we will provide you with the relevant training to enable you to carry out your role effectively and successfully. There will be opportunities to undertake formal Occupational Health training to become a qualified Occupational Health practitioner.
