Our Bank Office offers you the opportunity to work flexibly as a member of Bank Staff at the Trust.

Working as bank staff means that you can work up to 48 hours a week, or as few hours as you want a week, which is great if you're wanting to gradually return to work after a break, try working in a different service, gain experience, work extra hours or take advantage of a new opportunity.

You'll have access to all the training you need to keep your skills up to date and develop new ones, and you can choose to increase or decrease your hours to best suit your needs.

Main duties of the job

To provide OT specific assessment, formulation, and care/treatment planning for a designated caseload using evidence based/person centred principles.

To monitor and evaluate AHP treatment plans and interventions in a variety of settings.

To demonstrate OT outcomes

Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with data quality guidance, legislation, and policy.

To work flexibly to meet service requirements.

To work within the professional codes and conduct and Trust/Directorates Policies and Procedures.

To be personally responsible for maintaining professional HCPC registration

To contribute to the maintenance of a safe environment in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.

Clinical

To undertake OT specific assessments for a designated caseload,

To work with service users to identify OT goals as part of the overall care plan.

To plan and implement individual and/or group interventions, in collaboration with the service user, to achieve therapeutic goals.

To monitor and evaluate treatment to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention.

Communication

To establish effective communication networks with service users and carers, team members, colleagues, and other agencies.

To participate or work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to decisions regarding service user care programmes.

To provide support and education to service users and carers regarding aspects of specific therapy

Documentation

To ensure that up to date written and electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with Professional and Trust standards.

Leadership and supervision

To review and reflect on own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal.

Training

To participate in the induction, training and education of students and other staff in this setting.

Service Development

To participate in the planning, evaluation, and audit of practice, clinical pathways, and protocols within the service

To participate in the delivery of the AHP work plan.

Professional Development

To apply acquired skills and knowledge of professional practice to develop fitness to practise as an OT.

To maintain a professional portfolio for CPD, recording learning outcomes through participation in relevant development opportunities and achieve preceptorship.
