OverviewAXA UK is looking for an Office Lead to support the UK Chief Information Officer (CIO) in delivering excellence across Technology, Data, Security, Risk, and Operational functions. You will work with senior leaders on impactful projects in a dynamic environment and gain exposure to governance forums, industry best practices, and regulator relationships.AXA supports flexible working with a hybrid approach. You’ll be expected to be away from home (office locations, client visits, or industry events) at least two days per week (40%), increasing to three days (60%) in the future.What you’ll be doingSupport key strategic projects on behalf of the CIO, collaborating across UK and Ireland teams to deliver solutions.Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and messages for clear, impactful communication with internal and external stakeholders.Track and manage department actions to ensure commitments are met on time.Support local initiatives and leverage wider UK&I programs.Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and produce reports for the COO Executive Committee to inform strategic decisions.Lead operational projects, initiatives, and team development to enhance resources and capabilities.Coordinate cross-team activities, strategic planning, and reporting to align with business goals.Support workforce planning, recruitment, and skills development to ensure the team is prepared for future success.What you’ll bringProven experience working within a CIO office.Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex issues quickly.Excellent relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.High-impact presentation and negotiation abilities.Demonstrated project management expertise with a delivery-focused mindset.Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Comfort with ambiguity and using judgment to navigate complex situations.Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality work.What we offerCompetitive annual salaryAnnual company & performance-based bonusContributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)Private health cover28 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysOpportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leaveAXA employee discountsWellbeing services & resourcesHow to applyTo apply, click on the apply for this job button and log in or create a profile to submit your CV.
