Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA's vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.You'll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG).Ultimately, you'll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.Location: Hybrid, but must be willing to work on site regularly, primarily at Warminster, but other travel may be required to Raytheon UK offices.We are looking for a Project Controller to provide professional project scheduling and controls support as part of the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) for Raytheon UK, deployed to the Omnia Training Team. This includes the generation, analysis and reporting of key schedule and earned value management metrics to support the programme in reporting and facilitate key decision making. Earned Value expertise will be central to the management of the TCIF contract.We are looking for our team to advocate for and deliver robust project controls, metrics and business intelligence reporting by utilising our various tools to give clear, objective visibility of programme health and we want to build a team passionate about ensuring on time delivery, providing solutions to schedule optimisation challenges and who has a commitment to playing their role in programme delivery and supporting business intelligence and KPI reporting.Main DutiesResponsible for the development and integrity of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensuring that all activities, events and milestones are logically linked, fully resourced, fully cost loaded and aligned to the fiscal calendar.Leading and supporting schedule development work as the programme progresses.Support the Programme Manager and Control Account Managers with analysis of trend data and provision of programme metrics, presenting these on behalf of your programme at metrics review boards and customer meetings as required.Ensure contractual and programme baseline control management is adopted and that baseline change control has a clear auditable trail for change.Support the Programme Leadership Team with the generation and analysis of EVM data, and Earned Value variance root cause analysis.Perform analysis such as critical path, schedule risk analysis, BEI analysis as requiredMonthly collation and analysis of finance data such as schedule derived Estimates To Complete (ETCs).Support the development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS) to ensure effective cost and schedule reporting.Support Bid and Proposal activities through the development of schedule scenarios for impact analysisSupport the Programme Risk & Opportunity Management Process and internal Risk Review Board with risk identification, documentation, and risk analysis for schedule and cost impact, including the tracking of mitigation and capture plans within the IMS as required.Maintain a focused balance between the use of company standard tools and the innovative development of reporting through customised reports in Power BI.Who we are looking forWe are looking for individuals who want to serve. You won't necessarily have a military background, but you'll understand what it means to serve and to put the mission first.Skills, Experience & QualificationsCandidate Requirements:Experience operating in joint or matrixed teamsAbility to communicate across military and industry partnersFocused on outcomes, delivery, and operational excellenceA seasoned professional in a Project / Programme Controls environment.Able to provide clarity, insight and solutions to difficult and sometimes complex issues.Ability to coach lower tier professionalsExperience of and competent in the use of Microsoft Project EPM 2010/13/16, and other Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
