Operational Resilience Analyst

We are looking for an Operational Resilience Analyst to join our first line assurance oversight team. The team works closely with business units to map and test dependencies, ensuring resilience and good outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain resilience mapping workbooks ensuring they remain current and complete.
  • Support the Operational Resilience Manager in reviewing impact tolerances, collating relevant metrics, and documenting findings.
  • Lead scenario testing activities, including delivery slides, desktop exercises, data analysis and simulation, ensuring all material is accurate and complete.
  • Assist in the design of resilience targets in collaboration with Technology Services.
  • Document lessons learned and vulnerabilities following scenario testing or real disruption and present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor resilience‑related policies, procedures and response plans.
  • Produce clear operational metrics and reporting in various formats each month.
  • Collect and document third‑party supplier resilience assurance, escalating effectively where gaps exist.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in financial services in an oversight or assurance role.
  • Highly organised with a strong sense of governance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing stakeholders across the business.
  • Proactive, forward‑thinking, anticipating deadlines without prompting.
  • Strong ownership and genuine interest in resilience and strengthening contingency planning.

Hybrid Working

We offer a hybrid model with 3–4 days per week in the office. New hires spend the first three months full‑time in the office to build relationships.
