Salary - National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £43,100 to £45,800 and London 47,300 to £50,000 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of the FCA’s Operational Resilience framework, partnering with Important Business (IB) Service and divisional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to implement the framework, developing and maintaining robust resilience plans across the organisation.
  • Act as a point of contact and resilience SME for the business and functions, providing resilience and continuity advice to deliver the operational resilience framework.
  • Partner with business and function colleagues supporting the resilience agenda, including contingency planning champions and SMEs.
  • Support maintenance of IB Services, creating and maintaining process and dependency maps and tolerance statements for each service.
  • Support identification and documentation of vulnerabilities or risks that may need to be resolved to ensure continued operational resilience.
  • Conduct resilience due diligence assurance on third parties supporting important business services and key processes across the organisation, providing a view of risks to resilience to appropriate forums.

Minimum

  • Some knowledge of Operational Resilience and the foundational role of traditional business continuity practices.
  • Prior experience in process analysis, improvement, change management and governance.
  • Awareness of risk management and controls.

Essential

  • Forward thinking and quick to adapt to the fast-changing digital world in the context of resilience.
  • Strong communications, influencing and negotiation skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Delivery focus and ability to coordinate deliverables to prioritise work effectively.
  • Networking to build relationships, challenging and supporting colleagues in the development, delivery and evaluation of context.
