Operational Underwriting Analyst (12 month FTC)

We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Assistant on a 12 month FTC contract. This role is flexible and will be hybrid working with 40% in office working. There will be occasional travel into our London office.

This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our Trading Underwriter team in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks.
• Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team.
• Spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements.
• Acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers.
• Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy.

Skills and experience

• Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes.
• Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships.
• Good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets; databases and word processing.
• Previous underwriting experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

• Salary between £27,200 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
