We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Operations professional to join an expanding Construction company who look after a very niche market with offices in Maidstone and the Midlands.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing excellent service for both new and current customers and be able to demonstrate excellent decision making and communication skills when delivering projects to a national client base.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role within the Construction industry and demonstrate a 'can do' approach and the ability to build rapport with customers and problem solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The job will be a mixture of office-based meetings at Maidstone, Kent, remote working, and travel in the South and Midlands. With an initial training period in Maidstone.

Key Duties:

The key responsibilities are to maintain a scheduling planner, and accurately book and manage all services required for the successful operation of each installation within budget and agreed timeframe, meeting customer expectations.

-Engaging with installers

-Purchasing of materials

-Maintain professional relationships with all suppliers, customers, and installers

-Ensure Health and Safety standards are strictly followed

-Quality control of the project from start to finish

-Provide solutions and problem-solving during and after installations within project timescales

-Identify, and negotiate reductions in operational costs

-Build a purchasing guide for the business, market analysis for materials for Best Buy

-Liaise with contractors to capture finished project pictures and videos

-Manage efficiencies of each project

-Manage the sign-off process of all projects

-Provide profitability reporting on projects

Key Requirements:

-Proven and demonstrable customer service skills and problem-solving skills

-Strong verbal and written communication

-Outstanding organisational and time management skills

-Self-motivated, and the ability to work unsupervised

-Strong decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time with flexible hours during school term time

Location: Office based in Maidstone, Kent with Remote/Hybrid working

Prerequisite: Current Enhanced DBS
