RAC are on the lookout for a data-driven Operations Performance Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.
We’re seeking an analytical problem solver with Power BI experience, who doesn’t just visualize data but transforms it into a catalyst for performance. You’ll dive deep into big data, build intelligent models, and partner across teams to uncover trends, pinpoint inefficiencies, and solve complex performance challenges. Your insights will steer strategic decisions, enhance customer outcomes, and help us forecast and allocate resources more effectively.
This hybrid role split between two days at our Bescot office and three days working from home and places you at the core of our operational strategy, from Roadside Assistance to Contact Centres.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with a strategic mindset, keeping performance front and centre, and always striving for operational excellence.
What You Will Do…
- Use advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel to build impactful dashboards and analytical tools
- Proactively monitor performance metrics to ensure the business stays agile, efficient, and ahead of the curve
- Drive continuous improvement across operations through data-backed recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed analytics into everyday decisions and long-term strategy
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis and be a natural problem-solver who loves diving deep into data to uncover trends, patterns & opportunities. Strong communication and stakeholder management is essential.
You will also need:
- Advanced analytical skills including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Power platforms.
- Experience in different approaches to data analysis, statistical modelling including planning, gathering and challenging quality of data from various sources.
- Problem solving analysis skills
- Appreciation of building machine learning models using techniques such as forecasting, time series analysis and optimisation
- The ability to provide insight and present in a way that gives clarity, confidence and certainty to the audience.
- The ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Experience using machine learning and advanced analytics approaches to solve business problems.
