About Dignity
We are Dignity, one of the UK’s oldest and most trusted funeral providers, with over 200 years of history, 570 branches, and 46 crematoria. From launching the UK’s first funeral plan to helping shape modern regulation, we have led the way in supporting families with care, compassion, and professionalism.
Now we are building the UK’s leading end of life company. As part of the Dignity Group, we also operate Farewill, the country’s largest will writer and one of the UK’s top probate providers, giving families support not just at the funeral, but before and after as well.
Today we are over 4,000 people across the UK, all driven by the same goal: to care for families with compassion and make the UK a world leader in end of life care. Here to help, whenever you need.
Step into leadership, from day one
This is a rare opportunity to join Dignity – one of the UK’s most meaningful and wide-reaching businesses – on a fast-track path to operational leadership.
As an Operations and Performance Executive, you’ll work side-by-side with a Head of Region to support the performance of a business unit with hundreds of people, dozens of branches, and thousands of families relying on our service every year. From your first day, you’ll be exposed to how real businesses run – from budgets and people to transformation and customer care.
This role is part specifically set up to develop future leaders in the business – designed to give outstanding early-career talent real responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the support to grow into an exceptional leader in operations, commercial, or transformation roles.
What you’ll be doing

- Help analyse and interpret performance data to inform decision-making.
- Support the delivery of major initiatives – from customer service programmes to digital upgrades.
- Get involved in the day-to-day running of the business – including people, process and customer challenges.
- Share insights and learning across regions to help shape the future of the business.
Who we’re looking for
- You may be a recent graduate with relevant work experience (such as a placement year); someone early in your career ready to step into a high-responsibility role or have worked in a similar type of role to this.
- You’re bright, proactive and curious – always asking “why?” and eager to understand how things work.
- You take pride in delivering quality work and have a strong sense of ownership.
- You’re confident with people, but humble enough to listen and learn.
- You’re driven by purpose and care about supporting others with compassion and integrity.
Why this role matters
At Dignity, we support people at one of the most emotional moments of their lives – and we’re determined to do it with humanity, professionalism, and care. This role is your chance to be part of that mission, to learn how great operations are run, and to grow into a future leader of our business.

- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- BUPA private healthcare (Self).
