Operations & Stock Planning Manager - Hybrid (London or Hertfordshire based preferred)

We are Luff, a luxury bedding and mattress brand dedicated to setting the global standard for sleep excellence. We sell directly online and through retailers like Costco. As we grow rapidly, behind every perfect night's sleep is an operation that must run seamlessly. That’s where you come in.

This Operations & Stock Planning Manager role is for you if:

• You excel at solving chaos with systems. Handling courier issues or supplier delays? That’s your forte.
• You are proficient with Excel/Google Sheets, enjoying tasks like forecasts, order tracking, and margin reports.
• You think in terms of automations. Manual steps? You're already considering how to streamline with tools like Zapier.
• You communicate effectively—calmly with customers, assertively with suppliers.
• You seek ownership and want to oversee the entire operations engine with guidance, not micromanagement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Resolving customer delivery issues: coordinating with suppliers and couriers, calming upset buyers, recovering lost revenue.
• Managing supplier performance: ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met, pursuing credits and refunds.
• Forecasting & ordering stock: updating and refining spreadsheets and processes.
• Building systems: improving returns flow, customer service SOPs, and logistics coordination.
• Utilizing tech tools: GSheets, Shopify, Zapier, ChatGPT, and other tools you recommend.

• Have 2-5 years of experience in operations, e-commerce, or retail logistics.
• Are a spreadsheet power user and a people person.
• Enjoy problem-solving and fixing broken processes.
