Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Information Specialist to join our growing UK operations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading pharmaceutical companies and contribute to delivering accurate, evidence-based medical information.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete product and therapy area training; maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned products and therapy areas.

• Adhere to client-specific procedures for handling inquiries and preparing Global Response Documents (GRDs).

• Use designated systems for inquiry management and GRD development/approval.

• Monitor inquiry inboxes, ensuring timely response as per client guidelines.

• Conduct literature searches on databases such as PubMed, EMBASE, and Google Scholar.

• Define search parameters and select keywords relevant to the inquiry topic.

• Evaluate search results and identify key references.

• Critically assess references to extract relevant clinical/scientific information.

• Draft and update GRDs in line with the latest style guide and templates.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in medical information, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

• Strong writing skills in a medical/healthcare communications setting.

• Proven ability to interpret and analyse clinical/scientific data.

• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy standards.

• Strong commitment to client service and results delivery.
