Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant — based in the United Kingdom. You will be based within the managed service, overseeing support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will have opportunities to work on projects within Oracle Cloud. This is hybrid based with occasional travel to your nearest base office. You must be eligible for BPSS clearance and based in the UK. This is a role with Version 1, an award-winning Oracle Partner.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on OCI work — manage and support Oracle Cloud environments
• Technical variety across networking, DevOps, IAM, VPNs, and beyond
• Project exposure — contribute to live projects beyond BAU support
• Ticket management within the managed service and resolution of networking issues in OCI

Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-23)
• OCI support, including user management, IAM policies, and AD SSO integrations
• Experience with IPSec VPNs, network routing, and security group issues in OCI
• CloudGuard experience and alert resolution
• DevOps skills, particularly Terraform scripting
• Basic Linux administrative skills (training provided for less experienced candidates)

Desirable

• Oracle Linux Certification and ITIL Foundation
• Advanced DevOps skills (Terraform for full infrastructure builds, Ansible for Linux configurations)
• FastConnect configuration experience
• Oracle Database knowledge (basic experience with TNS connections and database links)
• Experience with JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, or Oracle Integration Cloud
