Methods and Tooling Engineer - Full Time - Derby or Bristol / Hybrid

Your Role

As an Engineering for Services Engineer at Rolls-Royce, you will play a key role in the development, design, and analysis of aerospace products throughout their full lifecycle. Your responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing advanced analytical techniques to assess and improve product designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes of engineering issues and implementing effective solutions.
3. Communicating complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including engineering teams, management, and external partners.
4. Preparing detailed reports and presentations to support decision-making processes.
5. Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
6. Implementing best practices in design safety, conducting risk assessments and safety analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal safety standards.
7. Developing and refining engineering methods and processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
8. Leveraging innovative approaches and technologies to optimize design and manufacturing workflows.
9. Understanding processes related to aerospace products, including design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Who We're Looking For

• A degree in a STEM subject (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, or Controls) and relevant engineering experience.

• Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats; Rolls-Royce will support the application process.
• Eligibility to work in the UK, holding a valid UK work permit or status.
