P6 Planner- Transport
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join the Transport Planning Team on secondment to oversee the schedule for preparation and delivery of Snow Hill Growth Strategy to Strategic Outline Case.
The main duties of the P6 Planner- Transport are:
·Acting as the project planner for the Snow Hill Growth Strategy project, the Planner will liaise with internal disciplines, and external stakeholders and consultant partners to produce a master schedule for the overall scheme. A consultant partner will be responsible for design, and the project planner will monitor their performance and provide regular reporting to the Programme Manager and project team.
·The Snow Hill Growth Strategy Project is a Transport Project to reimagine the environment around Snow Hill in Birmingham. The project has already delivered a Programme Business Case and the Planner is now required as the project develops in to the Outline Business Case stage.
·Acting as a Planner for the Transport Planning Programme, the Planner will create schedules for all Transport Planning projects. These will be high level schedules, and will be monitored on a monthly basis, with variance reports and 3 month lookahead schedules produced for each.
The P6 Planner- Transport will have key experience in:
·Experienced in inclusion of activities for multidisciplinary project teams in the development and delivery of active travel and highway projects, including monitoring of external consultants.
·Knowledge and awareness of statutory processes such as Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations, Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) etc.
·Proficiency and expert knowledge in Primavera P6
This role requires the successful candidate in the offices a minimum of 1 day per week.
