Overview

Lead Solution Architect – Privileged Access Management (PAM) for a global bank. Hybrid working (50% onsite, 50% remote). Immediate start. Our client is delivering a strategic Identity & Access Management transformation with a major focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM). This programme reshapes how critical systems and identities are secured across the bank — from authentication and federation to secrets management and API security.

We’re looking for a Lead Solution Architect with proven PAM experience to join the programme and help drive the future of secure access.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end configuration of strategic PAM capabilities (on-prem and cloud-native).
  • Partner with stakeholders to prepare demonstrable user journeys on PAM tooling.
  • Provide technical depth in cybersecurity domains including IAM, cryptography, infrastructure, data, cloud, threat & vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Contribute to both operational security and transformation programmes.
  • Work within large-scale IT transformation initiatives to drive adoption of secure and scalable PAM solutions.

Qualifications

  • Extensive cybersecurity expertise, with deep knowledge in at least one security domain.
  • Proven experience with PAM solutions (CyberArk, Centrify, Delinea, OneIdentity).
  • Experience delivering in both operational and transformation security roles.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-security SMEs.
  • Advanced qualifications – MSc/PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Industry certifications – CISSP/CISM required; SABSA/TOGAF preferred.
  • Technical proficiency with BizzDesign/Archi/UML for high-level design, Jira for task management, and Confluence for documentation.
