We’ve teamed up with COAT Paints, a new online paint company, to recruit a Part Time Accounts Receivable Executive. You will be the go-to person for managing our B2B customer accounts, ensuring invoices are accurate, payment terms and credit lines are managed, payments are chased, and reconciliations are watertight.

Responsibilities
- Manage B2B customer accounts end-to-end, with a focus on credit control and collections.
- Issue, track, and reconcile sales invoices in Xero.
- Chase outstanding payments professionally to maximise on-time payments and recovery.
- Produce statements of account for B2B customers and maintain accurate records.
- Support internal teams with queries relating to customer payments and credit terms.
- Spot and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Monitor aged debt reports and proactively manage overdue accounts, including removal of credit terms where needed.
- Escalate problem debts to senior management and coordinate with external debt collection agencies or legal teams when necessary.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone who is diligent in account administration and control, and able to manage relationships with our sales teams and B2B customers in an on-brand way. Candidates should have:
- Organised: able to manage multiple tasks and people.
- Detail Oriented: connect invoices, payments, and credit lines to ensure a seamless customer experience and positive cashflow.
- Methodical: comfortable with a structured process and a willingness to improve and develop processes.
- Caring and passionate about great customer experience: confident in negotiating with customers to secure payment without damaging relationships.
- Proactive: capable of self-managing work and shaping the role.
- Knowledgeable with accounting systems: solid experience with Xero (or similar).
- Credit control experience: experience using ageing debt analysis and KPI tracking.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control. • Quick learner, strong communicator, and comfortable with finance. • Legal right to work in the UK.
