Role Overview: Our client is seeking a proactive and mission-driven Partner Development Specialist to help grow their network of nonprofit partners. This role focuses on sourcing, pitching, and closing partnership opportunities that enable our emergency housing programs to scale. The ideal candidate is a natural connector and persuasive storyteller who thrives on building new relationships and turning prospects into active partners.

This is a hands-on, externally facing role. You’ll focus on identifying and bringing new partners into the client ecosystem – not on managing teams or day-to-day operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Sourcing & Outreach
  • Identify, research, and build a pipeline of nonprofit partners across priority regions
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches that align partner goals with Airbnb.org’s mission and programs
  • Partner Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Guide partners through the onboarding process, from initial conversations to contract signing
  • Work with Operations team to ensure new partners are equipped with clear expectations and resources
  • Collaboration & Insights
  • Share feedback from the field to strengthen outreach strategies and onboarding materials
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partner sourcing aligns with program needs

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, nonprofit program development, or a related field.
  • Fluent and able to conduct business in English and French
  • Proven success in sourcing and securing partnerships or business relationships.
  • Exceptionalrelationship-buildingand communication skills with the ability to inspire action.
  • Self – starter comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience in disaster response, humanitarian aid, housing access, or community development is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
