About the Retention Division
Our retention division is made up of leading software products focused on helping e-commerce brands build stronger customer relationships, increase LTV, and drive repeat revenue. These solutions span subscription management, retention analytics, and predictive reorder technology—serving hundreds of Shopify and D2C merchants globally.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Partnership & Business Development Manager to build and nurture strategic relationships with growth marketing and design & development agencies, Shopify app partners, and inbound leads. This role is critical in expanding our reach and driving adoption of our suite of retention marketing software solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding partners and new accounts, with the support of our existing Partnerships team.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales pipeline: lead engagement, follow-ups, and booking & closing demos.
- Identify and prospect potential agency partners (Marketing and Developers) and Shopify app partners aligned with our target market (DTC and CPG subscription-based e-commerce).
- Develop and execute a strategic partnership outreach plan to build a robust pipeline of qualified partners who drive predictable referred revenue.
- Present our software solutions and value proposition effectively to potential partners, referral contacts, and inbound merchants.
- Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within partner organisations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Product) to ensure partner success and overall sales alignment.
- Work closely with our retention-focused suite of apps to create mutual external partners and internal lead flow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and/or partnerships, preferably within the SaaS or e-commerce technology space.
- Demonstrable experience working with marketing and/or developer agencies.
- Experience working with or within the Shopify ecosystem and understanding of Shopify apps.
- Strong understanding of the value proposition of retention marketing and its impact on e-commerce businesses.
- CRM competency, ideally with HubSpot.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Bonus Points
- Understanding of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) subscription-based e-commerce landscape.
- Previous track record of successful partnership development and revenue generation.
- Up to £65–70k basic salary plus OTE (c.£100k+)
