Principal Consultant - Tax with JSS Search - Specializing in finding new opportunities for tax professionals

JSS Tax are hiring for a Part‑time Tax Manager for a leading retail business based near to St Albans (with flexible working arrangements).

This is a permanent role ideally on a part‑time basis – but potentially open to full‑time for the right candidate.

The role is a stand‑alone Tax Manager position supporting the CFO and acting as part of the finance leadership team, responsible for all tax matters that affect the business.

The position covers work across both direct tax and indirect tax matters and is a healthy mix of tax advisory, business partnering, tax compliance and tax project work.

It would suit a qualified individual with experience in both direct tax and indirect tax, with experience gained either from roles in practice or industry. Experience working with retail companies would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

The position comes with a salary in the region of £75k‑£95k plus 15% bonus and a fantastic benefits package.
