You are a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney with a passion for new technology in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Electromechanical systems. Applications are also welcomed from progressive Finalist level candidates. You are looking for a firm that can exceed your career aspirations, whilst fully investing in your IP skills and experience to add expertise and strategic guidance to a wide range of direct clients.
This award-winning international firm are looking to expand their Engineering practice group and are looking for a talented individual to assist with exciting new projects with established clients, as well as a burgeoning pipeline of work emanating from recent client acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and prosecution work across a broad range of subject matter including manufacturing, aeronautical (transport) and consumer product technologies.
- Engage in direct client work on behalf of UK-based and multinational companies across numerous sectors.
- Contribute to FTO, infringement & validity analyses and other contentious areas of IP.
- Explore opportunities for secondments to UK-based clients to broaden experience and service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney with a passion for new technology in Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrate an innate interest in the commercial aspects of IP work and the ability to express complex information clearly and concisely.
- Interest in working in a hybrid environment and within a friendly, modern, inclusive and diverse working setting.
Location & Environment
UK locations of particular interest include London, Leeds, Cardiff and Bath. Hybrid working is fully supported.
