Job summary

We are looking to recruit a passionate, engaging, and dynamic individualto work in the Quality and Patient Safety Team, leading the service deliveryand operational development of Patient Safety. The role includes embedding the Patient Safety Incident Response Policy andPlan across the organisation, incident management, patient safety training andstaff management. The role is full timeandinvolves hybrid working, with the base being atTrusts Headquarters in Worcester. The ability to travel to othersites for meetings, training or service needs is also required.

Main duties of the job

The successfulcandidate will:

Manage the Trusts Patient Safety Team.

Lead on incident management processes.

Produce monthly reports for corporate andservice delivery units integrated governance processes

Promote the Patient Safety agenda acrossthe Trust.

Work with the Patient Safety Specialists toembed the Trusts Patient Safety Strategy.

Work alongside Clinical Effectiveness andPatient Relations to align workstreams.

Work with system partners, stakeholdersand the wider NHS. This is to share learning, inform service development and beaware of new and emerging policy and guidance.
