Sitting within the Financial Services, After Sales & Security team as part of the wider Consumer organisation. They define and deliver stand out products to ensure momentum and value growth for Consumer within Payments, After Sales, Insurance and Security. They own the strategy, the delivery and in life performance of products.
The Payments Product Manager is key to the development and performance of EE’s hardware payment portfolio supporting the definition of development roadmaps as well optimising and developing in-life payment solutions.
The role will have you working across consumer lending, Buy Now Pay Later products and other ways to pay, working closely with regulated finance partners to ensure the best customer and commercial outcomes.
You will also collaborate with the Financial Services Propositions Senior Manager, supporting them on all aspects of the development and delivery of the EE Ways to Pay strategy, that is key to supporting EE’s growth ambitions in Telco and New Markets.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving performance across EE payment solutions, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate prioritisation and resources are in place to support plans.
- Ensuring delivery of new product developments, optimising and enhancing existing payment methods with a focus on customer experience and FCA regulatory compliance across all channels.
- Managing cross-functional teams to deliver change, including a wide range of internal and external partner stakeholders.
- Creating and using reporting and insight to drive continuous improvement across programme KPIs.
- Working with stakeholders including FCA regulated partners to ensure effective and compliant Go to Market plans for specific Financial Services products ensuring plans are fully interlocked with Channels and Service.
- Supporting Financial Services Propositions Senior Manager to develop the Ways to Pay strategy and drive P&L delivery.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
- Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of new product launches and the in-life maintenance/development of existing financial services products within an FCA regulated environment. Ideally this will have come from working with "Buy Now Pay Later" or similar other ways to pay related products.
- Experience in both delivering change and driving performance within a regulated environment, tracking product performance and both creating and delivering on action plans.
- Proven history of engaging and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders both externally (Customers and third-party providers) and internally at all levels across large consumer businesses.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, up to an executive through various methods including presentations, data analysis, email and phone
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and financial literacy with the ability to develop and present customer focused financial propositions.
- Annual on target bonus 10% (based on both personal and company performance)
- BT Pension scheme; minimum 5% employee contribution, BT contribution 10%
