Description
Due to significant business growth we are looking for an experienced and qualified Payroll Advisor to join our Payroll and People Services team at Arrow Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple UK entities and some international jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Due to significant business growth we are looking for an experienced and qualified Payroll Advisor to join our Payroll and People Services team at Arrow Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple UK entities and some international jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
About the Team
The team currently consists of 1 Payroll Specialist and 3 People Services Assistants reporting into a Head of People Services. Your role will be working closely alongside the existing Payroll Specialist within the team.
This is a full-time role operating within a hybrid working model, based in Manchester City Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with country-specific laws.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely submission of payroll data.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Prepare and validate payroll reports, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll queries.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing payroll information and documentation.
- Significant proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role within a large, multinational organisation.
- You'll have a formal UK payroll qualification. i.e. CIPP National Payroll Certificate (or an equivalent).
- Additional relevant qualifications in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday).
- Self-starter, passionate about payroll and the desire to learn new things.
- An understanding of international payroll is desirable however not essential for the role, your main focus will be UK payroll however you'll have the scope to broaden your skill set to our other locations overtime and have wider development.
