Payroll and Benefits Advisor (12 Month-FTC)

We are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Advisor for a 12 month FTC to join our HR team here in London.
What You'll Do:
- Managing the monthly payroll process through accurate and timely processing for all employees in line with best practice.
- Setting up new employees, updating employee changes, recording and monitoring payments of any new hire special payments, and ensuring terminations are successfully captured on payroll.
- Updating and maintaining any changes to the ADP payroll system - calculate benefits deductions, holiday pay, terminations, and any leaves of absence relevant in those countries, administer payroll requirements for season ticket loan and ride to work schemes.
- To be main point of contact for UK benefits including those processed through payroll, the UK Group Pension Plan and the AXA Private Medical Insurance.
- Effectively process the cyclical activities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure that employees have easy access to relevant and up to date information and that they are well informed, producing policies and guidelines where necessary.
- Keep up to date with changes in the external market providing recommendations to HR Management to ensure that our UK benefits are competitive and fit for purpose.
Who You Are:
- Substantial experience with payroll and benefits administration
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of all aspects of payroll along with previous experience in managing outsourced payroll suppliers (ADP experience desirable but not essential)
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices and payroll legislation.
- High degree of professionalism with ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of employees
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment
- Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle time efficiently
- Quick learner, extremely detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work
- Excellent attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy, quality, and integrity
